I bought it because it was 5 bucks and i have both the Conjuring movies which i do like a lot. If it had been more than what i paid I'd have skipped on it.
Completes the collection so far until I get Annabelle creation which was so much better. One of the best horror films I've seen in years if you have a fear of dolls not one for you. The doll gets thrown out of the house in a bin but ends back in moving boxes in a new house.
Great service. Rubbish film though. Since Chucky, I've really enjoyed evil dolls and the vent's dummy coming alive Not as scary as the other Annabelle films.
Although this film is a little older now its still good to watch. I just ordered a replacement as my old one was bad on picture quality.

Spune chiar si ceva despre Romania la un moment dat. Si-a meritat banii. Film cu copii pentru copii. O comedie reusita. In filmul asta nu se regaseste horror decat coloana sonora.

Am tresarit la unele faze din cauza sonorului tare de cinema dar sigur daca il vedeam acasa nici macar la alea n-as fi miscat.
Atmosfera a fost banala, in putine momente tensionanta. Mi-a ramas mai degraba primul film in minte decat asta care chiar m-a dezamagit.
MA asteptam la mult mai mult. Finalul mi s-a pare c-a distrus orice au reusit sa creeze pe parcurs. Parerile sunt impartite, mie personal nu mi-a placut dar nu recomand neaparat sa nu-l vedeti.
Chiar atat de slab nu e. Nu este chiar asa de rau filmul, e chiar acceptabil. As a matter of fact, I've started paying NO attention whatsoever to what the "critics" say, because I believe they need to have their medications adjusted.

Things are going beautifully for the newlyweds I don't want to spoil anything by saying more, but this movie is supposed to have a kernel of truth somewhere in there concerning the doll creepy, right!?
It's also based on a concept storyline from the movie, The Conjuring. So, I'll be watching The Conjuring next I wonder how the "critics" rated it?

Anyway, watch Annabelle and see what you think. See if you don't jump a time or two! Expected a poor movie after all the reviews, but was pleasently surprised by a good story and scares that weren't all jump-scares.
Perhaps it was because I went in with low expectations, but it opens strong, explains why things happen the way they do, and have some good scares.
And it's finally refreshing to see a buck of the trend where everyone doubts the protagonist, especially the husband. It can be frustrating to see really REALLY crazy things happen in front of these guys' eyes and they just attribute it to something odd but otherwise normal, or even more frustrating!
