Unfortunately that only works if you use a smart phone I do not or have an account with iTunes or something I do not.
What it doesn't allow for is to download the movie to watch on a device that doesn't have an Internet connection. So I'm stuck with just the Theatrical version, which wasn't what I bought this for.
I love this movie great action and it looks great and sounds great on Blu-Ray. And just so people know it says on the box the director's cut of the movie is digital download ONLY.
Witch sucks. Just give us both versions of the film on the Blu-ray Disc like you have done in the past universal studios.

Make THIS your next movie night. I've really liked all of the Furious movies except for the second and fourth ones, and I particularly liked 5 through 7 with the Rock, so I looked forward to this one.

Who would have guessed it 16 years ago? That part aside, it's a fun ride most of the time and a nice action movie. Sure, you need to ignore reality occasionally well, often , but it's still fun.
There's certainly a bit of a twist when it comes to one of the characters from a previous movie, but I liked it. Outside of the ending, which felt lacking but didn't totally suck, the movie as a whole was engaging and fun to watch.

The loss of Walker's character even though the movie makes clear that Brian and Mia are out of "the life" living happily ever after is felt on the storyline.
I will not go into too much detail, but this movie sees the invisible big bad, a hacker named Cipher played by Charlize Theron , from the past two films whose plans were thwarted by the crew recruit Dom over to her side.
For those who get the 4k disc, the movie looks and sounds great, as you would expect. It contains just the theatrical version of the movie.
Anyone who wants to watch the extended edition must use the included code to access the digital version, which is what knocks it down a star for me.
The other star is because it is not really a great movie and they are getting a bit repetitive. All the extras are included on the regular blu-ray disc, and include deleted scenes and several short between 5 and 10 min behind the scenes and making of features.
Ultimately I would say how you feel about this movie will mirror what you think of the others. If you love them all, then you will probably love this one.
If you hate the other ones, there is nothing in this movie that is likely to make you feel any different. Well Fast and the Furious lived up to it's name and previous franchise styles of exhilerating car races, over the top stunts and daring adventure.
Sure the whole Vin Diesel becoming a bad guy plot was a little on the edge, but overall this movie was surprising to me at how awesome the different scenes were put together.
Added a good amount of humor as well. Sure the ending was a bit way over the top, but that's the style of these movies, is to mix a taste of reality with fantasy, and then take you for a ride with them.
Overall a fun movie to watch and I would watch it again. As with most Fast and Furious movies, you probably either love them or hate them.
And I don't blame you for either. I liked F8 as it has some great action sequences and some interesting twists and turns no spoilers.
As a 4K copy goes, this is another outstanding release in this franchise. They are amazingly wonderful copies of the movies.
HDR makes the colors pop with vibrancy, especially during action sequences.
